Day 1

Tanger - Meknes

We will pick you from the port in Tangier and transfer you to Meknes where we are going to spend the night in a Hotel with dinner and breakfast. On the way, we'll have stops to take pictures and drink coffee.

Day 2

Meknes - Fez

We start our guided tour today with the visit to Moulay Ismael Mausoleum, Swani basin, Bab Mansour and then to the Roman ruins at Volubilis which is about 35km outside Meknes. Later, there will be a visit of Moulay Idriss Zerhoune. From there, we'll go to Fez and spend the night in a hotel with dinner and breakfast.

Day 3

Fez - Fez

Today is all for Fez. You'll have the chance to visit the famous medina and old parts of it with its small narrow streets. A local guide will navigate this car free maze of monuments, souks and artisan workshops to show you the most interesting and historical parts of Fez, the fantastic craftsmanship of the many artisans that work in tiny shops and workspaces will amaze you. The quality and quantity of crafts, textiles, metal and woodwork, leather and silk, will give you an appreciation of the ancient traditions still in use here. You can have lunch in a restaurant in the middle of the medina. The night is in a hotel with dinner and breakfast.

Day 4

Fez - Merzouga

Today you will be on your way to the south of Morocco. From Fez, we'll cross the towns of Azrou and the cedar forests of Ifrane. We'll have lunch in Zaida, then, continue to Midelt, Rich, Errachidia, Erfoud, Rissani and finally reach Merzouga. On the way, you'll have the opportunity to take pictures of the wild monkeys in the Atlas Mountains forests. You will appreciate the pure beauty on the road to the magnificent dunes of Erg Chebbi. Once arrived in Merzouga, you leave your main luggage at the hotel and we change the 4x4 for 8x8 "camels" and start a caravan to explore the sea of dunes. You will experience the life of the Berbers, spending the night under a sky full of stars and listening to the drum music of the Sahara. Dinner and overnight in a bivouac tent.

Day 5

Merzouga - Ouzina Desert

After you come back from the camel ride, you can have a hot shower and breakfast in the hotel, we'll leave Merzouga/Erg Chebbi and depart for the Ouzina Desert. It is a lost village in the desert where you will see the real Morocco. You'll visit the prehistoric Saharan petroglyph rock art carvings near the village of Taouz. Along the way, you'll pass through Jdaid village, and the sand dunes of Ouzina and finally the spend a night in Kasbah Ouzina.

Day 6

Ouzina Desert - Boumalne de Dades

The desertified landscapes are the most dominant on our route today. It is the best way to experience the lifestyle of some of the Berber cultures and societies. Black Hamada which is the rocky black desert that covers much of this area is an amazing and striking vista. You'll spend the night in Boumalne Dades with dinner and breakfast. The route today is 70 percent off road and it is known as the Classic Paris Dakar Racing road.

Day 7

 Boumalne de Dades - Marrakech

After our breakfast we will say good bye to Boumalne Dades, and we pass through Skoura to arrive in Ouarzazate where we'll visit the Cinema Studios. Later, after lunch, we continue on our route to visit Ait Benhaddou Kasbah which is a UNESCO world heritage site and also a famous location for filming blockbuster movies. From there we cross the High Atlas Mountains, over the highest pass of Tizi´n´Tichka and down to the plains. We'll arrive in Marrakech where we'll spend the night in a Riad with breakfast. You'll have dinner in Jemaa el Fna square.

Day 8

Marrakech - Marrakech

Today is full day of exploring Marrakech. You will visit Bahia Palace, Saadian tombs, Menara mosque, the beautiful Majorelle Gardens, Koutoubia mosque and the whole afternoon is for the souks in the medina of Marrakech and you'll have dinner in Jemaa el fna square.

Day 10

Marrakech - Essaouira

Today we are going to the charming old coastal medina of Essaouira. The landscapes all the way are wonderful. This is one of the main argan tree regions and its quite possible you will see goats climbing in the trees to eat the nuts. Essaouira is a colourful blue and white medina with influences of Portuguese and Spanish architecture. Its history tells stories of pirate ships bringing black slaves, these people brought the Gnawa music to these shores and each year the World Music Festival is a tribute to that gift. Wander the narrow streets, discover the brightly painted fishing boats in the port and the array of fish and seafood laid out for sale, discover the art galleries and artisan shops and then enjoy your lunch in one of the many fish restaurants. In the evening, dinner will be in a restaurant, then you spend the night in a hotel with breakfast

Day 11

Essaouira - Casablanca

After breakfast, you'll visit what remains of Essaouira, then you'll continue to Casablanca to visit Hassan II mosque. This mosque is quite spectacular and really deserves to be visited, we will have lunch on the way. You'll spend the night in a hotel with dinner and breakfast.

Day 12

Casablanca - Rabat - Tangier

Casablanca - Rabat - Tangier

After breakfast we depart from Casablanca to the capital imperial city of Rabat where you 'll see the main historical monuments before continuing to Tangier where we'll say good bye to each other wishing good continuation and a safe trip.

Arrive at Casablanca Airport where you will be met and welcomed by your driver guide who will drive you to your accommodation.
